Affiliate Disclosure

Our relationship with retailers

Giftn helps people discover gifts, and part of our business model is affiliate marketing. This page explains what that means, in plain language, in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).

What affiliate links are

An affiliate link is a special link to a retailer's website. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays Giftn a small commission. This never increases the price you pay — the commission comes out of the retailer's side of the sale.

Where Giftn stands today

Giftn is currently applying for affiliate partnerships. Until those partnerships are approved and live:

  • All "View at retailer" buttons on this site and in the app preview are disabled demonstrations and do not link to any retailer.
  • Products, prices, ratings, and review counts shown are sample data used to demonstrate how Giftn's recommendations work, and may not reflect real, current listings.
  • Giftn currently earns no compensation from any retailer or brand shown.

When partnerships go live

Once affiliate partnerships are active, we will clearly mark live retailer links, keep this disclosure up to date, and note the change here. Our recommendations will continue to be driven by fit — recipient, occasion, and budget — not by which retailer pays the highest commission.

Trademarks

Retailer and brand names shown in the Service (such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy) are trademarks of their respective owners. Their appearance is for identification and demonstration purposes and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement of Giftn.
